Preparing for the Beyond Massage

Treatment for Chronic Illness

At your first session, you can expect a uniquely powerful healing experience that addresses stress, tension, and pain in your body and mind.

 

Dr Tracy brings the massage table, music, oil, complimentary CBD salves, bolster - all the necessary tools to enhance your healing experience. 

While Dr Tracy is setting up, you will fill out the intake form and then your health goals will be discussed. Plan for an additional 20-30 minutes for the setup and consult, plus give yourself ample time to integrate afterwards. Don't go rushing to another appointment, work, etc. Take this time for you. 

To prepare for your treatment, it is recommended that you do not eat a large meal beforehand.

You may dress down to your comfort level, you will be underneath a sheet and draped for privacy during your session. 

 

Generally, you will begin face down on the massage table, unless instructed otherwise, and Dr Tracy will guide you through the session. 

 

It is important to communicate any discomfort or pain during the session so that adjustments can be made to ensure your comfort.

Dr Tracy's healing system is designed to relieve stress, tension, and pain in your body and mind and is complementary to other healing modalities.

 

While it is not a replacement for medical treatment, it can be used in conjunction with other therapies to support your overall wellbeing.

Dr Tracy encourages you to be an active advocate in your healthcare, getting diagnostic tests and seeking experts in the natural and medical health field to regain or retain health and vitality.

What is Spinal Activation?

There are pathways in the body which contain specific reflex points, that when activated, dissipate stress and unleash latent energy that gives way to higher states of consciousness, joy, love, peace, and wellbeing in mind and body. 

When this technique is applied, a spontaneous 'Soul Breath' emerges. This breath signifies that the feedback mechanism has been turned on and that more energy and oxygen is now available to untapped potentials in our body and brain. 

Secondary to the Soul Breath is the 'Soul Wave' which is the subtle energy moving through the body. If sensitive to it, you may feel spontaneous wave-like patterns moving through your body, hand mudras, or other inspired movements brought upon the innate wisdom of your body. Feel free to move and allow this energy to flow through you.

Who is Dr Tracy professionally?

Dr Tracy Brinkman DN, is a doctor of Naprapathy, graduating top of her class in 2008. She went on to work in a medical pain clinic, where she would, in the simplest of terms "loosen what was tight" while the physical therapists would "strengthen what was weak" and the medical doctor would treat in a beautiful system to prevent surgery. 

It is then that Dr Tracy knew there was more than simply the physical aspects of pain and sought out other modalities addressing healing of the mind and emotions. She became a Mastery Level Facilitator and an International Trainer of Higher Brain Living, a system of accessing subtle energy points to release stress and unleash higher potentials in mind, body and soul. 

In 2016, she began merging and integrating the modalities she learned along the way and created the powerful healing method known today as the Beyond Massage.

Spinal Activation and the Beyond Massage

We begin the private Beyond Massage sessions with Spinal Activation and it is integrated throughout to amplify and utilize the energy and breath for your ultimate wellbeing. During this time, consider it a 'physical' meditation and observe the subtle powerful shifts in your mind and body. 

There will be times during your session when you will be instructed to breath into specific points in your body. Some of the points are the reflex points of Spinal Activation and consciously breathing into these spots will magnify the energetic healing response. Some of the points are 'Trigger' points or areas of tension or congestion and consciously breathing into them will bring the oxygen and energy necessary to release and return to health and vitality. 

After the moments of guided breath, return to witnessing and allowing the body to 'breath you,' allowing the breath to come through whatever way feels natural and good to you. 

Who is Dr Tracy personally?

Dr Tracy is the eldest of seven children, raised in the suburbs of Chicago. She lived 20 years in the city of Chicago prior to relocating to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. 

She was adopted by a puppy that crashed Tracy's birthday party on the beach of Vega Baja and the two go on many hikes, walks along the beach, and social hour at the nearby dog parks in Condado. 

In additional to healing with her hands through her potent bodywork, she also creates fabulous healthy whole food plant based dishes that she loves sharing with her lovely friends and family.

Stress, Breathing, and Posture

When stressed, we tend to go into fear, freeze, flight, fight or fawn response automatically.

 

We may hold our breath, tighten our muscles in a guarded and protected manner, and/or cause our body to chronically feel 'not safe' and hypervigilant. 

Think of what a stressed out, low-energy, worried person may look like... holding their breath while stressed and focused at work, shoulders turned inward in protection, slumped forward, head down...

Then think of what a free-feeling, empowered, healthy and vibrant person looks like... standing tall, shoulders back with chest out and open to the world, head looking forward or up...

What's the difference in their posture? In their breathing patterns? 

Spinal Activation shifts us from fear/stress/tension to empowered/free/thriving.

Dr Tracy provides convenient mobile service in your home, airbnb, or hotel. She brings all the necessary tools for providing an excellent healing session.

Once the time is confirmed and deposit is received, you will be officially booked for your first session. 

Please provide a 24 hour notice to change or cancel your session, or your deposit will be forfeited.
